Went into a local supermarket today, there security man had no insignia tie and worst of all i could see no sign of his licence, and hands stuffed in his pockets.
Is it any wonder that the public have such a bad impression of us.

Sadly, this seems to be quite common. I'm the manager of a shopping centre security team, and I use the officers of individual stores in the centre as a 'how not to look' guide for my team.
