In order to ensure our Premium Members get the latest news at the soonest possible moment I am writing some new features into the forum engine.

Briefly, it works like this;
Sources of useful information will be given a special unique (to them) email address that will enable them to send information to the Guild via email and that information will appear automatically and almost immediately, directly into a specified forum topic.

Premium Members will be able to subscribe/ unsubscribe, at will, to any of the available special forums or just view the latest submissions when they come to our site.

If a Premium Member subscribes to one of the special forums, they will receive a 'digest' of the latest posts at specific intervals - currently set to once a week at 23:00 hours each Sunday.

Can I take this opportunity to ask for feedback from our members?

What would you consider as an acceptable time span to recieve digests if you were to subscribe?
Is once a week ok or would you prefer some other time period?

So far I have set up input streams for;
Events (All Security related for) Training, Conferences, Seminars etc.

SIA (Latest news directly from their newsletter)

Security Product News (Product releases from various manufacturers/suppliers)

Recruitment - for recruitment agencies to advise us of their latest vacancies and also their newsletters.

Are there any other specific topics you would like to see?

Are you already subscribed to a newsleter or similar you would like to see on the site?

I have almost finished testing out the new input stream management system and expect to get this live, with some new forums by the 24th March.
In order to ensure the new forums do not get to large, we wil be setting posts to auto delete every 60 days.
