I was just listening to Enter Sandman by Metallica the other day - not a particularly favourite band of mine but I was also listening to some news reports on the Micheal Jackson court case in the states at the same time and couldnt believe the coincidence when I had listened to the lyrics....
Say your prayers little one
Dont forget, my son
To include everyone
Tuck you in, warm within
keep you free from sin
till the sandman he comes
sleep with one eye open
gripping your pillow tight
CHORUS
Exit, light
Enter, Night
Take my hand
we're off to never-never land
Somethings wrong, shut the light
heavy thoughts tonight
And they aren't of snow white
dreams of war, dreams of liars
dreams of dragon's fire
and of things that will bite
sleep with one eye open
gripping your pillow tight |

Nothing Else Matters is one of my favourites so although I'm not a fan of 'thrash' I'll certainly give those others a listen. |

At the risk of showing my age get "The Sweet's Greatest Hits" or the DVD.
Listen to all the album/DVD, and then tell me they were not years ahead of their time!! |

Funny you should mention then Dave, Zoe and I had a glam rock hour the other day but I only had 'Blockbuster' by the Sweet so I'll certainly give the rest a listen. |
