Forum Protocol - please read before posting in our forums

We do not allow posts which defame other members, if you have a problem with another member, refer it to a Forum Moderator, Commitee Member or one of the Directors - you can use email or Private Message.
Racist remarks will result in a users account being suspended.

We do not allow posts which are made primarily to advertise a product or service without our express consent - in which case your post will be edited to show that it has been allowed by the Guild.

Anyone abusing the popularity of the site by using it (in particular the forums) purely as a springboard to advertise their products or services will find their accounts suspended pending investigation. Obviously latitude will be shown to those who actively participate in the site but outright spamming for personal gain is very much frowned upon.

Signatures
Please keep forum signatures to 2 or 3 lines of plain text (no links).
Graphics files are not permitted in forum signatures though members may use their own avatars if these are hosted elsewhere or arrangments can be made to upload them to our server upon request.

Defaming and Flaming
We do not allow posts which defame or flame other members, if you have a problem with another member, refer it to a Forum Moderator, Commitee Member or one of the Directors - you can use email or the Private Messaging facility.

Racism
Racist remarks aimed at members will result in a users account being suspended without notice.
Whilst we strongly believe in the freedom of speech, blatant racist comments will not be tolerated in our multi-racil community.

Advertising
We do not allow posts which are made with the primarily intent to advertise a product or service which the poster is associated with or may gain some personal renumneration without our express consent.
In cases where blatant advertising has been permitted by the Guild, the post concerned will be edited to indicate its acceptance by a Moderator.

Redirection
Before posting requests to 'please conact me at xxx' or 'PM me' or 'email me at xxxx' PLEASE - remember that this is a community.
This community is about SHARING, whether it be points of view, other information etc etc.
Whilst we appreciate that some information that members might wish to pass between themselves may be of a confidentail nature PLEASE ask yourself if all or part of that information can be shared with the community. We all learn by the life experiences and knowledge of others.
