At 12.20 on Thursday 15th January a Securicor CIT Officer was robbed at gun point at Swiss Cottage London Underground Station. The robber sped off on a motorcycle. British Transport Police are appealing for witnesses.
I was actually across the road from the station when it happened but at the time all i could find out from the BTP officers at the scene was that the CIT officer was ok.

I hope I can talk for all of us when I say that I hope the officer is OK and I wish him all the best after what he has been though.

Likewise, I'm sure.
Although CIT pesonnel are perhaps more acutely aware of the dangers of 'the bad guys', it is never a good day out when you get a gun pointed at you.
I wonder if his employer offered councelling?

I certainly wouldn't have wanted to be in his shoes.
I forgot to say, this is not the first armed robbery of a Securicor CIT Officer at Swiss Cottage LUL Station. There was one last year! I would have thought that Securicor would have altered there procedures at this station after the first one.

You would have thought so.
I might just go and ask them for the hell of it.
