Can you believe this, somebody I know has been given a lisence after appeal (which opnly took 4 weeks), in the past 7 years he has done 3.5 years in prison, 3 counts of ABH, 4 counts of GBH, theft from a dwelling, carrying an illegal fire arm on a non dwelling premises and countless TWOCing offenses. A good friend of mine has been turned down in an appeal for buying car insurance without a full driving lisence 6 years ago(it came under the theft act). What is the point of this SIA, I ask you!

I'll never understand it either. Just reading the long list of no-no's is amazing and still nutters get the licence! Originally they were the reason why they come up with this idea and now the SIA makes a mess of it! I am still waiting for my licence that costs me more money every day and I have clean sheets so I SHOULD get it.
