Hello All,
I have just been taken on as a Security Guard and Have been told I will have to get the SIA licence. Can anyone tell me if any training notes are available on the net so I can swot up before the course.
As I am 60 I feel I need a head start
Any help would be appreciated. Baz |

Hello and welcome.
Don't worry about the course or the need to read up on anything before you go. The course is very much common sense and almost all training providers will supply you with 'handouts' or notes but you really shouldn't need them if your instructor is on the ball.
I appreciate going 'back to school' can be a little intimidating but it really is a breeze.......and if it's anything like the courses I run, it's a bloody good laugh too.
Relax and enjoy your course.
Regards,
Mike. |

Hi Mike,
Many thanks for taking the time to reply and thats made me feel a bit better now. It is a long time since I last did a training course and must admit I was a bit worried about it.
Thanks again Mike....Baz |
