What the day will cover:
 
The day will provide you with the knowledge of the basic working principals of English Law in relation to the use of physical force, including compliance with the Convention rights as defined by the Human Rights Act 1998 as well as the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, in relation to the requirements of the Edexcel Certificated Awards in Close Protection, Physical Restraint and Conflict Management. 

Achieve Part Accreditation:
 
By attending this day will cover most of the learning outcomes required for the law section of the following awards: 
• Edexcel Level 3 BTEC Certificate in Close Protection Operations 
• Edexcel Level 3 BTEC Advanced Award in Physical Restraint Practice 
• Edexcel Level 2 BTEC Intermediate Award in Physical Restraint Practice
• Edexcel Level 3 BTEC Award in the Delivery of Conflict Management Training
