Alfred Blacker caught at last and charged with Security Officer Sean Edwards murder

Alfred Blacker has finally been caught and charged with murder after he stabbed Security Officer Sean Edwards to death in Manchester.

Security Officer Sean Edwards, 21, was stabbed in the chest during a row in the street in Highgate Crescent in Gorton in August 2003 and was placed on the Guilds 'Wanted' list.

Sean sadly died from his injuries in hospital less than an hour later.

Alfred Blacker, 43, from Glasgow, was arrested in his home city earlier this week and appeared at Manchester Magistrates Court today charged with the murder.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Crown Court later this month.
