The offices of the Ogilvy Group are located in Canary Wharf, London. The company is ranked at number three of all brand agencies in the UK market and its client base includes American Express, Castrol, Cisco Systems, Dove, Ford, IBM, Mattel and Nestle. The company employs over 700 people in London.
The TK-C920E (A) cameras incorporate a 10-bit digital signal processor (DSP) that automatically adjusts the camera parameters to ensure high resolution, sharp and natural looking pictures in all lighting conditions. The 1/3-inch CCD produces 535 TV lines of horizontal resolution. An added benefit is the Super LowLux sensitivity of 0.7 lux at F1.2 in colour mode, which ensures that excellent image quality is produced even at extremely low light levels. For this installation, the cameras are set to capture colour images. Images from all cameras are monitored during working hours in the London office of Ogilvy & Mather.
"Since installing the CCTV system in our building we have virtually eliminated reported theft. In addition we use the security set-up to safeguard our systems. Staff, visitors and contractors are monitored whilst on the premises to protect equipment and confidential material. Any incidents can be thoroughly investigated using CCTV footage. Furthermore, security has been instrumental in the case of potential health and safety claims," comments Dave Goulding, Director of Facilities at Ogilvy & Mather.
Mark Taylor, Managing Director established Taylor Technology in 2004. Taylor Technology specify and recommend access control systems, CCTV, video entry, remote transmission integration and fire protection installations. Ogilvy & Mather was one of the first contracts to be awarded.
"I chose the cameras for the complete security system because they produce clear detail and are able to perform well in both low light and brightly lit conditions. I have over 19 years experience in the security industry and know that critical to specifying and installing CCTV and access control systems is the functionality, reliability and durability of equipment. The JVC cameras are very easy to use and configure. JVC is a well known brand and is a demonstrated leader in the manufacture of CCTV cameras," states Taylor.
Geoff Bwye, Area Sales Manager – South at JVC Professional Europe Ltd adds, "JVC are delighted to be involved in high profile installations such as Ogilvy & Mather with Taylor Technology. The camera’s robust design and performance in low light environments make it the perfect camera for this type of installation."
