Can you have a reliable car on credit - YES, of course you can!

Can you expect to be ripped off - YES, of course you can!

Many security officers earn low incomes and find funding for expensive material goods such as cars prohibitively expensive. However, there are some companies who regularly advertise on TV that regardless of your credit history, or whether you have CCJ's, they can provide you with a deal to enable you to drive away a car in around an hour!

Well, they can!
Be wary of the interest rates which means you could be paying over the odds copmared to other companies.

Following complaints from our members, we went along with some of them to see why they thought they were getting ripped off.
Our investigation reveals one company deliberately hiking the price of its cars to over £1,000 MORE that the used car guide price provided by Glass's Guide and lying to its customers that the price of the car they have given is the same as that quoted on Glass's Guide.

If you are in the market for new(ish) car and are considering using these types of companies, make sure you get them to quote the price of the car in writing and ask them what the current car price of the car is according to Glasses Guide.
Then either ask them to produce the Guide or look it up online - don't get ripped off!

We found that when returning a car for part-exchange to the same company, you were at far greater risk of getting ripped off with hiked car prices that with the first purchase. They do this so they can offer you what appears to be a better deal by allowing you more money for your old car than it is actually worth but, they claw this loss back by hiking the price of the newer car you are thinking of purchasing.

A copy of our investigation has been passed to Trading Standards who have taken action against this company before.
