JSIC is developing an aide memoire for security operatives in the UK to assist them in identifying and reporting suspected terrorist activity.

The wallet-size card will be printed on durable plastic and contain information to identify activities and behaviour that would warrant additional investigation by anti-terrorist police.

Around 250,000 of the cards will be printed and distributed to police, security officers and CCTV control room operators.

Information on the cards includes:

Checklist of suspicious activities relating to terrorist reconnaissance activity
Activities in private accommodation that could indicate the presence of a terrorist operation
A checklist of suspicious activity relation to possible suicide bombers
The aide memoire has been developed by JSIC as part of the JSIC Counter Terrorist Sub-Committee.

The Guild have written to JSIC in support of this initiative and we have also asked how we can obtain some of these cards for our members. We'll update you when they respond.
