To kick start the New Year, the Guild launches a fabulous free piece of software available exclusively through the Guilds website - Security Incident and Patrol Software.

SIPS was written by James Price specifically for the UK market. James spent a considerable number of years working in the security industry before branching out into programming, the result is an intuitive, user-friendly piece of software that has all the functions you would expect.

Because this Special Edition version is free, James cannot officially support the software but I'm sure he would be happy to answer any questions you have about the product or any suggestions you might wish to make to improve the product on our SIPS forum.

Unique (as far as we are aware) to this software is the ability to add health and safety warnings on a per-site basis so if an incident occurs, your control room has immediate access to any health and safety notes such as dangerous chemicals on site etc.
