LONDON (Reuters) - An unemployed man has been charged with aggravated burglary and attempted robbery after a machete-wielding attacker wounded two security guards at the MI5 spy headquarters.
William Phillip Duncan Cornford, 41, will appear in court on Monday, police said in a statement on Saturday.
Police arrested a man armed with a large knife and a machete on Friday after officers brought him down with an electric stun gun during the attack at the intelligence service in London.
The two guards injured in the attack were treated in hospital but their injuries were not life-threatening, police said after the arrest.
